Who are Calculus and how do we work?

Calculus Book-keeping Services is based in Kings Langley and is run by Sharon Hargreaves, a qualified book-keeper with over 15 years’ experience. Although we’re based in Kings Langley, we have clients from all around the local area, including Watford, Bushey, Berkhamsted, Chesham, Harrow and Hemel Hempstead. Whilst our services can help any business, we’re particularly experienced in working for businesses with up to 50 employees, tradesmen (e.g. plumbers, electricians and builders), independent estate agents and accountants.

We tailor our helpful approach to your needs, with as much or as little jargon as you’d prefer. We know how difficult it can be to contemplate handing over responsibility for your books to someone new, particularly if you’re used to doing things in a certain way so we’ll work how you want us to. We offer to collect your records so that they don’t go astray in the post but if you’d rather we did your books at your office rather than ours; that’s fine by us. Reliability is key when it comes to book-keeping and we always agree deadlines for delivery, and have never missed a deadline! Our charges vary depending on the work involved and in keeping with our commitment to a flexible approach; we offer fixed fees or hourly rates.
